Sky Watch Friday

Welcome to Skywatch Friday. Visit here for more beautiful skies around the world.

This shot is from out near Hill End in New South Wales, off the Bridle Trail. It's really dry out there and they desperately need some rain - the river is almost non-existent in places. It's still beautiful though.

Very striking capture.

What a nice photo. It may be dry but it looks to my eye as if the dry branches are trying to do a rain dance - reaching their arms up to the sky for rain.

Thanks for visiting my blog for SW!

Hill end is a beautiful little historical town and the country is lovely around there. Here we have prayed for 6 years and are getting rather desperate.

Beautiful shot! The sky is very nice and the dead trees make the photo even nicer..

Yes Sharon I do love this golden country. I know how it feels out there when you want it desperately green. Like you said, it is beautiful and perhaps that is the way it has been for most of the time when we where not there to plant and to harvest.

How cool to find the trees framing up a beautiful view for you.

Top shot.
I think it actually embraces much of Oz desperate need for rain...
