Sky Watch Friday

We usually go away this time of year but this year we decided to stay home and enjoy the city. I could not go past a photo of the Sydney Opera House as my first contribution for 2009. There was not a cloud in the sky.

A nice capture of something recognized to most. I would love to be able to get a shot like that!

I must say Sharon I am always thrilled to see the opera house. There is an old saying 'why do you want to go go and see other places when the best is at home'! Or in Shakespeare's words: As now I am in Arden: the more fool I.When I was at home I was in a better place;but travellers must be content.-As you like it.ActiiSc.4-

Cool photo for Sky Watch Friday. Glad to hear you enjoyed the trip to Coffs, it is a special place isn't it? Happy birthday to you and your hubby.

That is a remarkable building under a bright, clear sky. If we had it here, it would mean no snow and that would be a good thing. We were very impressed with the accoustics inside that Opera House.

It is definitely one of the things that means "home". This heat is a bit much to take at the moment.
